Hello and welcome to the Tuscaloosa-Skyland SDA Church.  We welcome you to come in and join us for our service and a fellowship meal every Sabbath.

We are delighted to welcome Pastor Masael Silverio, who comes to us from the Birmingham-Roebuck Church.  He will share his role as head Elder/Pastor between the Tuscaloosa Skyland Church and the Birmingham-Roebuck Church.

Pastor Masael lives by the belief that he is:

“A slave for the love of my Lord Jesus Christ. My passion is for you to know him by experience.”

Studied at: Universidad Adventista Dominicana

Went to: Adventist High School, La Paz

Misael Siverio is originally from the Dominican Republic where he grew up in a Christian home as a third generation Adventist. From a young age, God placed in his heart the desire to learn more and more about the Bible and teach others. 

At the age of 17, Misael responded to God's call and entered the theology seminary in the Dominican Republic. Since then, his life has revolved around pastoral ministry. 

In 2018, Misael and Patricia joined their lives in holy matrimony. Today, they live happily as a pastoral family with Dael and Ethan. Patricia has a degree in educational psychology and loves to serve others.

In 2019, they received the call to come to the United States as a Bible worker. Then, in 2021, they received the call as senior pastor at the Pascagoula Bilingual SDA Church and St Elmo SDA Church. They were later transferred to central Alabama in Hispanic churches until 2024. They currently serve at Birmingham Roebuck Seventh-day Adventist Church and Skyland Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Misael and Patricia's greatest passion in ministry is helping others grow as disciples of Jesus. 

Outside of ministry, Misael enjoys music, reading, playing basketball and playing baseball.

Goals:

Now my only goal for the church is to know the church's family and know the community. 

We look forward to the new page that will be written for our church with the arrival of our new pastor.  We the body of the church welcome all visitors.  Please join us as we embark on a new era.
